The research takes an in depth look at trends in infrastructure finance, such as the long term growth in bilateral policy lending, the essential role of export credit agencies and development finance institutions in funding infrastructure projects in Africa and the rise of Chinese outbound lending.

An extensive analysis of data from IJGlobal’s proprietary deals and transactions database and a survey of 434 senior executives from ECAs, DFIs, commercial banks and project sponsors globally form the basis of this report.
